In practice, this is what the Parents’ Council does:

• Holds forums with the Superintendent, other district administrators, and educational experts to inform parents about such topics as curriculum and instruction, technology, school finances, and social issues facing students.
  
• Helps to educate parents on the school budget and works with all the HSAs and PTAs to get out the vote on the budget and other school elections.
