The Dignity Act was signed into law in September of 2010. But was not fully in effect until July 2013.
The Dignity Act seeks to provide the state’s public school students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment, and bullying on school property, a school bus and/or a school function.
Acts of harassment & bullying (including cyberbullying) and/or discrimination, by employees and students on school property and/or school function and/or bus.
Including, but not limited to, conduct based on:

If you think there has been a Dignity Act occurrence you need to fill out the DASA reporting form which you can find in the office or our website.
The form will be reviewed by the Dignity Act Coordinators:

The Sousa HSA is a nonprofit organization established to support the students and staff of Sousa. We pay for programs that enrich the curriculum, give funds to make up grant deficits for programs and support family and student engagement in events.
The HSA also supports scholarships and outreach programs. These couldn’t happen without the gracious support from parents, both with their time and and money.
HSA dues are collected at the beginning of the year, and are VOLUNTARY. Everyone is automatically a member of the Sousa HSA regardless of dues payment.
